We Provide Outdoor Carpets Built For Dubai’s Climate
Our outdoor carpets handle Dubai’s 45-50°C summer heat, UV rays, humidity, sand, dust, and rain. Low-pile synthetic carpets stay cooler than bare stone and make cleaning easier. Solution-dyed, UV-stabilised fibres help prevent fading. Non-absorbent polypropylene resists moisture and mould. Anti-slip backing keeps carpets secure during Shamal winds. Permeable backing helps drain rainwater, while chlorine-tolerant options work well around pools.
Outdoor Carpet Materials Compared
Choosing the right fibre depends on sun exposure, moisture, and foot traffic. Here’s how
the main outdoor carpet materials perform in Dubai conditions.
| Material | Best for | UV resistance | Moisture | Feel underfoot |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Polypropylene (olefin) | Balconies, patios, general use | Excellent | Non-absorbent, dries fast | Firm, low pile |
| Recycled PET | Gardens, eco-conscious projects | Very good | Non-absorbent | Softer, textured |
| Nylon | High-traffic terraces, commercial | Good (needs UV treatment) | Low absorption | Resilient, springs back |
| Polyester | Shaded balconies, decorative areas | Moderate | Low absorption | Soft |
| Chenille blends | Covered seating, majlis areas | Moderate | Absorbs more | Softest |
| Sunbrella acrylic | Full-sun rooftops, poolside | Outstanding | Quick-dry | Soft, premium |
| PVC / vinyl weave | Pool decks, wet zones | Excellent | Fully non-absorbent | Firm, wipeable |
| Sisal & jute | Covered patios, shaded entryways | Poor in direct sun | Absorbs, not for wet areas | Coarse, natural |

Get Personalized Outdoor Carpets Tiles Designs Dubai
We provide custom-made outdoor carpets Dubai for balconies, decks, patios, terraces, play areas, events, and entryways. You can ask for bespoke colors, eye-catching patterns, textures, and sizes. Our team will customize the carpet’s shape & dimensions according to your outdoor furniture layout and space requirements.
Outdoor Carpet Installation Dubai | Completed in 1 to 3 Days
Our team visits your property, measures the area at its widest points, and checks the surface condition, drainage slope and any curves, corners or doorways that need shaping.
You receive a written quote based on exact measurements, with material recommendations matched to your sun exposure and moisture levels. Free samples are provided so you can compare finishes on site.
The area is swept clean of sand and debris. Loose or uneven sections are levelled, and existing drainage points are identified so water flow is preserved after fitting.
Carpet is cut to your exact dimensions, including curved edges, L-shaped terraces, pillars and doorway thresholds. Seams are positioned to fall in low-traffic areas where possible.
Carpet is fixed with the appropriate adhesive or anti-slip backing for your surface. Edges are secured and finished so shamal winds cannot lift or curl them.
We check for wrinkling, lifting edges and seam alignment, then clear the site. Your outdoor space is usable the same day fitting completes.
What Makes an Outdoor Carpet Different from an Indoor Carpet
Outdoor carpets differ from indoor carpets in four ways. Fibres are solution-dyed, so pigment runs through each strand and resists UV fading. Backing is permeable, letting water drain instead of trapping it. Fibres carry UV stabilisers that prevent cracking under sun. And non-absorbent synthetics like polypropylene and olefin resist mold in humidity. Our range runs 300–500 GSM with anti-slip backing.

I love this brand’s waterproof outdoor rug. I have already washed it, and the color did not fade, nor did the fibers shed. The material is thick and has a latex backing to provide improved grip and prevent skidding. 5-Stars!

Frequently Asked Questions
Prices start from AED 250 per square metre, depending on material, weight and finish. Polypropylene sits at the entry level, while Sunbrella acrylic and PVC weaves cost more. Final cost depends on your exact measurements; send us your dimensions for a written quote with no hidden charges.
Our outdoor carpets are weatherproof and drainage-backed rather than sealed. Water passes through the permeable backing and drains away instead of pooling. PVC and vinyl weaves are fully non-absorbent, making them the right choice for pool decks and consistently wet areas.
Solution-dyed fibres carry pigment through each strand rather than on the surface, and UV stabilisers are added during manufacture. This is what allows outdoor carpets to hold colour through repeated Dubai summers, where indoor carpets bleach within a season.
Our range runs 300 to 500 GSM. Lighter weights suit shaded balconies and decorative areas. Higher GSM is worth it for restaurant terraces, hotel entrances, and any space with constant footfall, where denser construction resists flattening.
Installation is completed within 1 to 3 working days across Dubai and the Northern Emirates. This covers the free site visit, cutting to shape, fixing, edge securing, and final inspection. Most residential balconies and patios are finished in a single day.
Yes. We cut to any dimension and shape, including curved balconies, L-shaped terraces, circular pool surrounds and areas with pillars or drainage points. Book a free site visit and our team measures on site.
Hose or sweep weekly to clear sand, and wash monthly with mild soap and a soft brush. Rinse after pool use to remove chlorine. Avoid bleach, solvents, and steam cleaners; these strip UV protection and weaken the backing adhesive.
Yes. The synthetic fibres used are non-toxic, and anti-slip backing keeps carpets stable underfoot on wet or dry surfaces. Low-pile weaves also release pet hair and sand more easily than high-pile alternatives.
PVC and vinyl weaves are the strongest choice for pool surrounds. They are fully non-absorbent, chlorine-tolerant, non-slip when wet, and wipe clean. Sunbrella acrylic is the premium alternative where appearance matters as much as performance.
Yes. We supply and install across Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, and Ras Al Khaimah, as well as all Dubai communities including Palm Jumeirah, Dubai Marina, Downtown, Dubai Hills, and Arabian Ranches.
