Sports Flooring in Dubai | Supply & Installation for Courts, Gyms and Play Areas

Sports flooring in Dubai ranges from AED 130 to AED 360 per square metre. Vinyl and foam sit at the lower end; maple hardwood is the most premium. Installation, subfloor preparation and line marking are quoted after a free site measurement.

Sports vinyl is the most common specification for UAE school halls. It cushions PE and gymnastics, takes multi-sport line marking in different colours, resists chair and staging damage, and cleans with routine mopping.

Choose hardwood for basketball and netball where ball bounce and appearance matter most. Choose rubber for gyms and weight rooms where equipment is dropped. Hardwood needs periodic lacquering; rubber needs none.

Vulcanized rubber. It absorbs the impact of dropped weights, protects both equipment and subfloor, reduces noise, and provides non-slip grip during high-intensity training.

Foam is the softest option, absorbing shock during jumps and tumbling. It suits gymnastics, children’s activity areas, and high-movement training. Installation and maintenance are both straightforward.

Sweep and mop regularly with mild solutions, clean spills immediately, and use only manufacturer-recommended products. Place entrance mats to stop dirt spreading, and avoid heels or cleats on the surface.
