Nova Floor supplies and installs 100% natural sisal carpets in Dubai from AED 100/m². Made from agave fibre, our carpets feature a 5–8 mm pile, low-VOC construction, and a tight anti-static weave. They can help reduce footfall noise by around 20–30% while keeping dust near the surface for easier cleaning.
Sisal carpet uses natural agave fibre to create a durable surface that handles regular foot traffic while resisting crushing and matting. Its dense weave helps keep dust near the surface, making routine vacuuming easier in Dubai homes and offices. The textured finish also provides good underfoot grip for hallways and staircases.
We offer Tigra, Mini Boucle, KOM Bi-colour, Sambrossa, Recife and Chevron collections in beige, tan, cream, sand, taupe, charcoal and grey. Sisal suits living rooms, bedrooms, offices and majlis areas, but avoid wet spaces and direct, unshaded sunlight.

My business partner recommended this service, and we hired them to install sisal-made carpets in our office. Their carpets are truly anti-slip and perfect in terms of texture. Highly appreciated service.

Nova Floor is such a great sisal-made carpet installation company in Dubai. I got my favorite carpet installed in the living room by the experts. They installed acoustic underlayments and applied dirt-repellent coatings.

I live in Dubai Downtown and hired this service for sisal-made carpet fixing in my hotel bedrooms. I asked for plush pile height, nylon backing, and flame retardant treatments, which they did and charged reasonable prices. Great service.

Sisal comes from the leaves of the agave plant. Workers crush the leaves, pull out the long fibres, and dry them in the sun. The fibres are spun into yarn and woven into a flat, tight carpet. It is a plant material, so it breaks down naturally at the end of its life.
Our sisal costs AED 240-280 per square metre, supplied and fitted. The price depends on the weave, the pile thickness, and whether you want a custom border. Stairs cost a little more because of the extra cutting. We measure and quote for free anywhere in Dubai.
Sisal is stronger and lasts about twice as long. You get 12 to 15 years from sisal and 5 to 8 years from jute. Sisal also handles stairs, pets, and dust much better. Jute feels softer and costs less, so it works in a quiet bedroom. For most Dubai homes, sisal is the better buy.
Most sisal carpets last 12 to 15 years. Three things decide the real number. How much foot traffic it gets, how much sun it gets, and how quickly you clean up spills. Sisal in a shaded bedroom can last longer. Sisal in a sunny hallway that never gets vacuumed will wear out sooner.
Vacuum it often with strong suction and a brush head. The tight weave holds dust on top, so one pass lifts most of it. If something spills, blot it right away with a dry cloth. Work from the outside of the spot inwards. Use a little mild soap and as little water as you can. Never soak sisal or steam clean it, because too much water leaves rings that do not come out.
Sisal soaks up liquid, so a spill will mark it if you leave it sitting. It is not stain-proof like a treated synthetic carpet. The good news is that dry dirt and dust stay on the surface instead of sinking in. Clean spills quickly and the carpet stays fine. We can also add a fibre sealing treatment if you want extra protection.
Yes. Sisal is one of the safest natural carpets for stairs. The rough texture grips your feet, so it does not slip like smooth seagrass or short pile carpet. We cut stair runners to fit your staircase, bind the edges, and add a felt or rubber underlay for comfort on each step.
Yes. Sisal is the toughest of the natural carpet fibres. The strands resist crushing, so the carpet does not go flat in walkways the way wool or synthetic pile does. This makes it a good pick for hallways, entrances, offices, and busy living rooms.
Yes. Sisal does not scratch easily, and it does not hold pet hair. It traps far less smell than wool. There are no synthetic backing chemicals in it, and it is low-VOC, which matters in rooms where kids play. Keep your pet’s nails trimmed and the weave will last longer.
Yes. Sisal is hypoallergenic, which means it does not hold pollen, dust mites, or pet dander the way thick pile carpet does. Dust sits on the surface, so vacuuming actually removes it. Sisal also does not shed loose fibres over time, which wool does.
Yes. Sisal is a plant fibre from the agave, and farmers can harvest the same plant again and again. It needs very little processing and no plastic. At the end of its life, it breaks down naturally instead of sitting in landfill. Our rolls are also low VOC, so they do not release strong chemical smells indoors.
Sisal feels firm and textured, not soft and fluffy. It is not the right choice if you want to sink your feet into the floor. Most people find it comfortable for everyday walking and standing. If you want more softness, we can fit a thicker underlay below it. You can also pick a boucle weave, which is the softest sisal option we stock.
Indoors, yes. Sisal breathes well and handles heat and humidity without trouble. Its dust performance is a real plus here too. The one limit is strong direct sunlight, which slowly lightens the natural colour. For very sunny rooms, we suggest a UV window film. For open patios we suggest our outdoor range instead.
Yes, for wall-to-wall fitting. An underlay stops the backing rubbing against the floor, adds comfort underfoot, and cuts noise further. Sisal already lowers footstep noise by 20 to 30 percent, and a dense underlay improves that. We fit sponge rubber, foam, or felt depending on your room and floor.
We stock beige, tan, cream, sand, taupe, charcoal, and grey. These are the natural shades of the fibre plus light dyes. Sisal takes dye better than jute or seagrass, so the colour range is wider than most people expect. You can also add a border in a different colour to frame the room.
Yes. We cut sisal to any room size, including L-shaped rooms, stair runners, and round or oval rugs. You choose the edge binding in cotton, linen, or leather. You also choose the border width and colour. Measurement at your home is free anywhere in Dubai, and so are the samples.
