LVT (luxury vinyl tile) is multi-layered vinyl flooring with a printed design layer that realistically mimics wood, stone, or marble. It’s fully waterproof, softer and quieter underfoot than ceramic tile, and significantly cheaper than hardwood or natural stone.
Both are 100% waterproof. LVT has a more flexible core that feels softer and quieter underfoot, ideal for bedrooms and living areas. SPC has a rigid stone-composite core that’s harder and more impact-resistant, better for heavy commercial traffic. We supply both and can advise on-site which suits your space.
With proper installation and basic care, expect 10–15 years in residential use. Lifespan depends mainly on wear layer thickness, ask us to match the wear layer to your traffic level.
Yes. The core and surface are fully waterproof, and unlike ceramic tile there are no grout lines for moisture to penetrate. It’s suitable for kitchens, bathrooms, and laundry rooms, provided the subfloor is properly prepared and seams are correctly finished.
