Nova Floor supplies and installs chevron flooring in Dubai across five materials: parquet, engineered wood, laminate, vinyl, and SPC. Chevron flooring uses planks cut at a 45° or 60° angle so each pair meets point-to-point in a continuous V – unlike herringbone, where rectangular planks overlap at 90°. Thickness ranges from 3 to 8mm in SPC and 5 to 12mm in laminate, with 4 to 5mm suited to apartments and 7 to 8mm to commercial floors.
Chevron pricing starts at AED 65 per sqm in SPC and vinyl, AED 90 in laminate, and AED 110 in oak or walnut parquet. Every order includes free samples, a free site visit with measurement, and a fixed quote that does not change once work begins.
Our elegant Chevron flooring instantly changes how a room feels. Each plank is cut at an angle and joined to form a clean, continuous V. Every joint lines up perfectly, edge to edge. That sharp zigzag draws the eye forward, making narrow hallways look longer, and small rooms feel wider. In offices, it adds a polished, professional edge. At home, it brings warmth and quiet luxury.
Unlike ordinary straight planks, chevron creates rhythm and movement underfoot. The result is a floor people notice- stylish, timeless, and worth every step.
Nova Floor supplies chevron flooring in eight materials. Each uses the same 45° or 60° angled cut and point-to-point
V layout, but differs in core construction, waterproofing, thickness, and price per sqm.
Chevron parquet flooring uses solid or engineered hardwood blocks cut at 45°, available in oak, walnut, and ash.
Chevron laminate uses an HDF core with HD-printed wood grain, comes 5 to 12mm thick, from AED 90 per sqm.
Chevron vinyl planks are water-resistant, warm underfoot, and Nova Floor’s most affordable chevron option from AED 60 per sqm.
Chevron SPC has a stone-plastic composite core, 3 to 8mm thick, 100% waterproof and rated P4 for slip resistance.
Chevron LVT is 100% waterproof luxury vinyl tile, suited to kitchens, bathrooms, and high-traffic family spaces.
Chevron WPC pairs a wood-plastic composite core with sound insulation and softer underfoot comfort for bedrooms and apartments.
Chevron engineered wood layers of real oak or walnut veneer over a plywood core, staying stable under constant air conditioning.
Our Chevron solid wood is 100% hardwood, can be sanded and refinished up to six times, and lasts decades.

They provided me with free samples to inspect the flooring quality and helped in choosing the right textures and colors. The experts also offered free floor measurement services and fulfilled all my decorative needs during the flooring installation in my apartment. Highly recommended!
It was a month ago that I hired them in Palm Jumeirah. They offered quick appointments and fixed glossy chevron tiles in my living room. My floor looks so amazing after installing their tiles in a chevron pattern. Best Chevron flooring shop Dubai.
My experience with this flooring company went very well. They provided me with exactly the flooring tiles I was looking for and delivered them before the given timeline. I also got a free maintenance catalog along with the tiles. Thank you very much.
Chevron flooring in Dubai costs AED 65 to 250 per square metre. Chevron laying costs 15 to 25% more than straight plank, because angled cuts waste more material.
Chevron planks are cut at 45° and meet point-to-point in a continuous V. Herringbone planks are cut square at 90° and overlap in a staggered zigzag.
Yes, with the right core. We recommend engineered wood or SPC chevron, acclimatised on site for 48 to 72 hours with perimeter expansion gaps.
Chevron SPC and LVT are 100% waterproof, suitable for kitchens and bathrooms. Vinyl and laminate are water-resistant. Engineered and solid wood chevron are not waterproof.
Chevron installation takes 1 to 3 days per room, 2 to 5 per apartment, after 48 to 72 hours acclimatisation – roughly 30% longer than straight plank.
Yes. Engineered and SPC chevron are compatible with underfloor heating and cooling. Solid wood chevron is not recommended, because uneven movement causes gapping at the mitred tips.
Yes. The continuous V draws the eye along one axis, making narrow rooms and hallways read longer. Light oak and whitewashed tones strengthen the effect.
Chevron is most commonly cut at 45°, producing the classic symmetrical V. A 60° cut creates a longer, narrower V. We validates the angle with a laser centre line.
Engineered wood chevron suits most Dubai apartments, since its cross-layered core resists movement under constant air conditioning. Choose SPC chevron for kitchens, bathrooms, and rentals.
Yes, once the surface is levelled and moisture-tested. Grout lines must be filled and loose tiles fixed, since an uneven base opens chevron joints at the tips.
Sweep or vacuum two to three times weekly and damp-mop with a floor-appropriate cleaner. Avoid steam mops and standing water. Use felt pads under furniture legs.
