On 27 September 2026, the Nova Floor team went to a home in Arabian Ranches, Dubai. The owner wanted a new floor. They wanted it to look like wood. They also wanted it to be strong and easy to clean. So we chose LVT flooring.
Our project lead was Noah Williams. Noah has done many floors in Dubai. He knows how to do the job well.
What We Saw First
The room was big and bright. It had a large window with lots of sunlight. But the floor was just grey concrete. It looked cold and plain.
The owner wanted the room to feel warm. They wanted a floor that looks nice and is easy to look after. It also had to be good for the hot Dubai weather.
“LVT is great for homes in Dubai,” said Noah. “It looks like real wood. But it is stronger, and water does not hurt it. It is also very easy to clean.”
Step 1: Getting the Floor Ready
First, the team checked the concrete floor. They made sure it was clean, dry, and flat.
This step is very important. If the floor is not flat, the planks can move later. Gaps can also show up. So the team did this step slowly and carefully.
Step 2: Putting Down the Planks
Next came the fun part. The team picked a warm wood colour with a natural look.
They started on one side of the room. Then they moved across, one row at a time. Each plank clicked into the next one. The team used a small rubber hammer to tap each plank into place. This kept the planks tight, with no gaps.
They also made sure the plank ends did not line up in a straight row. This makes the floor look more like real wood.
Slowly, the grey floor was gone. A warm wood floor took its place.
Step 3: The Last Touches
When all the planks were down, the team checked the whole floor. They looked at the edges near the walls. They looked near the window too. Everything had to be neat.
Then they cleaned the room. Now the owner could see the new floor clearly.
The Final Look
The room looked totally different. Before, it felt cold and empty. Now, it felt warm and cosy. The sunlight shined on the new wood floor and made the room glow.
The owner was very happy with the result. The room was now ready to become a lovely living space.
“The best part is seeing the client smile,” said Noah. “We don’t just put in floors. We help people love their homes.”
