Vinyl Flooring Installation for a Modern Villa in Emirates Hills, Dubai

Project Overview

Nova Floor team recently completed a vinyl flooring installation at a modern villa in Emirates Hills, Dubai. The homeowner wanted one clean, bright floor that would run through the whole villa, from the large living area to the hallway and the bedrooms.

After talking with the family, we chose a light grey oak-look vinyl plank. It has a soft natural wood pattern, so the rooms feel warm without looking too dark. It also suits the villa’s style, which has wooden slat panels, built-in shelves and large glass doors.

Preparing the Floor

Good flooring starts with a good base. Our team first checked the sub-floor and cleaned it properly. Small cracks and uneven spots were fixed so the surface was flat and smooth. We then laid an underlayment, which helps the planks sit evenly and makes the floor feel more comfortable to walk on.

Installing the Vinyl Planks

Next, our installers fitted the planks one by one in a straight, long layout. This layout makes the living area and hallway look bigger and more connected. Each plank was locked in carefully and the joints were kept tight. At the doors, walls and the sliding glass panels, the edges were cut neatly and finished with matching trims.

The same floor continues into the master bedroom, so the whole villa has one smooth look from room to room.

The Final Result

The finished floor looks calm, modern and clean. In the living area, the light grey tone works well with the cream sofa, the wooden TV wall and the garden view outside. In the bedroom, the soft beige curtains and warm lights match the floor perfectly.

Vinyl is also a smart choice for Dubai homes. It is water-resistant, easy to clean and comfortable underfoot, and it handles daily family life well. The homeowner was very happy with the result.
