Modern Laminate Flooring Project in Arabian Ranches, Dubai

The Nova Floor team recently finished a new laminate flooring project in a villa in Arabian Ranches, Dubai. The homeowners wanted to replace their old flooring. They asked for a warmer, more modern look in the main living area. They also wanted to keep that natural wood feel underfoot.

After seeing the space, our team suggested a dark wood-effect laminate. It has a rich tone, it’s durable, and it’s easy to maintain — perfect for a busy family home in Dubai’s climate. The client also wanted the new floor to match the villa’s existing beige and cream tones. So we picked a deep espresso-brown shade. It creates a nice, balanced contrast.

The Installation Process

Before laying the new floor, our team prepared the sub-floor first. They checked it for level and added an underlayment. This gives extra comfort and helps with sound insulation. Next, the dark laminate planks were installed in a classic straight-plank layout. The planks run the length of the living area. This makes the room feel longer and more open.

Our team paid close attention to the areas near the floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding doors. Natural light hits the floor directly there, so the finish had to look seamless from every angle. Plank joints were staggered across the room for a natural look, not a repeating pattern. Every seam was checked for a tight, gap-free finish before moving to the next section.

Bringing the Room Together

Once the flooring was down, the room came alive. The deep, dark wood tone made a striking contrast against the cream sectional sofa, the beige curtains, and the warm ambient lighting. A textured area rug was added under the coffee table. This softened the space and anchored the seating area. The dark wood grain added depth and a touch of luxury to the whole room.

The Final Result

The finished living room now has a warm, luxurious feel. It flows naturally from the seating area to the entertainment unit, and out toward the terrace doors. The laminate’s realistic wood grain and satin finish catch the light beautifully all day. It gives the villa a timeless, high-end look.

This project shows how the right flooring choice can completely transform a space. It adds warmth, style, and value to a Dubai home, without the higher cost or upkeep of solid hardwood. For the homeowners, it also means a floor that’s easy to clean. It’s built to handle daily family life, from kids running around to pets, without losing its good looks over time.

Nova Floor was proud to help bring this Arabian Ranches villa’s vision to life. The team looks forward to more projects like this one across Dubai.
