Project Overview
On 20 August 2026, the Nova Floor experts completed a WPC outdoor decking project for a modern rooftop pool terrace in Downtown Dubai. The space had a clean contemporary design, a swimming pool, large glass doors, palm planters, and views of Dubai’s high-rise skyline.
The main goal was to create a warm, practical outdoor surface that complemented the luxury surroundings while providing a comfortable area around the pool. For this project, the client selected Teak Brown WPC Outdoor Decking, chosen for its natural wood appearance and modern grooved surface.
Understanding the Space
Before installation, the Nova Floor team carefully inspected the rooftop terrace. The poolside area required a flooring solution that could work naturally with the existing stone pool edging, glass features, landscaping, and modern architecture.
Our team measured the installation area and checked the surface conditions to plan the decking layout. Special attention was given to the pool perimeter and the areas around the building entrances to ensure a neat and consistent finish.
Preparing the Substructure
Once the measurements were confirmed, the installation area was prepared for the decking system. A suitable supporting substructure was positioned across the terrace to provide a stable and level base for the WPC boards.
The team carefully checked the spacing and alignment of the supporting joists before beginning the board installation. This preparation helped create a strong foundation and allowed the decking boards to maintain consistent spacing throughout the terrace.
Installing the WPC Decking
The Nova Floor installers then started laying the Teak Brown WPC decking boards across the prepared substructure. Each board was aligned carefully to maintain the same direction and clean grooved pattern.
The reddish-brown teak finish added warmth to the rooftop while contrasting beautifully with the blue swimming pool and surrounding greenery. Around the pool, the boards were cut and positioned carefully to follow the terrace layout and maintain a clean edge.
Final Result
After completing the installation, the rooftop terrace had a completely refreshed appearance. The continuous WPC decking created a visually connected outdoor space around the swimming pool while giving the terrace a warm, modern character.
The combination of Teak Brown WPC decking, landscaped planters, glass railings, and the Downtown Dubai skyline created the finished look the project required.
